A walked 1 mile today. Same routine as yesterday. My blood glucose was 128. Good to see that they are coming down. I attribute that to the exercise.
Supposedly, exercise will help with the utilization of glucose in your blood stream. Makes sense. Your body uses glucose for fuel, so as you exercise your cells take in the glucose from your blood and your blood glucose goes down. Since I don’t eat anything before I exercise, my body has to rely on its glucose stores to fuel my body. The trick is to not release too much glucose and keep my blood levels high. We have no control over that. There is way more science involved in this, but I am not going to go into that here.
